Information Technology Support Specialist

Location: Manhattan, New York

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 + Benefits

We’re working with a rapidly growing Ecommerce / Retail organization in Manhattan that is looking to add an Information Technology Support Specialist to its internal IT team.

This is a hands-on, business-facing IT Support role providing technical support across users, devices, Microsoft 365, SaaS applications and internal systems.

You’ll be responsible for resolving day-to-day technical issues, managing user accounts and devices, supporting onboarding and offboarding, and ensuring employees have the technology they need to work effectively.

Alongside traditional IT support, you’ll also gain exposure to AI and automation initiatives, helping employees make better use of tools including ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot.

• Provide day-to-day IT and technical support to users across the business
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, application and connectivity issues
• Support Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams and Share Point
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access across internal systems
• Support Windows and macOS laptops and devices
• Assist with device configuration, deployment and management
• Manage IT onboarding and offboarding, including accounts, hardware and licenses
• Support SaaS applications and third-party business systems
• Troubleshoot basic networking, VPN and connectivity issues
• Maintain IT documentation, knowledge articles and user guidance
• Help employees effectively use AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot
• Work alongside Data & AI Engineering on automation and technology improvement initiatives

• 2+ years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, Desktop Support, Service Desk or End User Support
• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
• Experience troubleshooting Windows and/or macOS devices
• Understanding of Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra
• Experience with user administration, permissions and access management
• Strong hardware, software and application troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills and confidence supporting non-technical users
• Good understanding of general IT infrastructure and networking
• Exposure to ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini or other AI tools
• Interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies

Experience with Microsoft Intune, MDM or other device management platforms

Experience with Google Workspace, Okta or modern SaaS environments

Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and Wi-Fi troubleshooting

Exposure to Power Automate, Zapier, n8n or similar automation platforms
