Systems Engineer
A tier one high frequency trading fund are seeking a highly skilled site reliability engineer to ensure that the firm's trading infrastructure is ultra-reliable, highly optimized, and globally scalable. This funds trading platforms operate in microseconds, so SRE's work on fine-tuning operating systems, kernel parameters, and networking stacks to minimize latency and jitter. Work involves deep system-level debugging using tools like perf, tcpdump, edpf and sometimes writing custom kernel modules.
- Implement self-healing systems that detect and mitigate failures across thousands of machines without human intervention.
- Build and test failure-injection systems (similar to chaos engineering) to validate resiliency under extreme market conditions.
- Build high-performance monitoring pipelines capable of analysing millions of metrics and logs per second
We're seeking strong experience in Python / C++ / Go, Linux, Networking and Dev Ops automation technology.
