Senior Manager – Amex Ads Product

• Own the product roadmap for Amex’s new advertising systems, including ad serving, order management, and self-service
• Identify, design, and launch advertising placements and formats including display, native, sponsored listings, and email
• Lead development and deployment of new advertising capabilities across Amex Travel, Resy, and the Amex App
• Collaborate with product, technology, marketing, control management, and legal teams
• Translate business requirements into features and user stories for engineering teams
• Track capability delivery, prioritize engineering effort, and manage the active backlog
• Lead regular standups with technology owners and provide technology leadership updates on progress and blockers
• Help resolve technology issues and identify opportunities to automate processes
• Assess external technology solutions to fill internal capability gaps
• Own end-to-end third-party lifecycle management for new vendors
• Establish compliance and risk processes and controls
• Lead the New Product Approval process for new capabilities

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years of product development, product management, and/or strategy experience
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to understand complex technical systems, identify issues, and develop effective solutions
• Strategic mindset with proven ability to work in white space and ambiguity, identify new growth opportunities, and define a clear execution plan
• Experience leading complex projects end-to-end
• Strong detail orientation and highly organized
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Power Point
• Strong collaboration and relationship management skills with ability to engage, align, and inspire internal and external partners
• Customer-centric mindset with strong business acumen, ensuring scalable monetization and performant advertising while upholding a superior customer experience
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with ads experimentation with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Preferred: expertise in advertising and/or Commerce Media Networks, including product strategy for ads, marketplaces, and/or multi-sided platforms
• Preferred: ability to develop and execute product vision, strategy, and prioritized backlog
• Preferred: technical understanding of product development
• Preferred: experience managing digital ad products and leading technology scrum teams in an agile environment
• Preferred: experience translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications and ensuring high-quality technology deliverables
• Preferred: experience interfacing with American Express product owners and technology teams
• Preferred: experience with JIRA
