VP of Content Partnerships

Responsibilities

• Lead content and data acquisition for , Raven Pack's LLM grounding platform for financial services
• Own the partnership strategy end to end, from sourcing and pitching through legal negotiation and go-live
• Identify, pitch, and close partnerships with market data vendors, alternative data providers, and brands with proprietary licensable content
• Build and manage relationships with diverse content and data providers
• Lead commercial negotiations covering licensing terms, redistribution rights, and usage restrictions
• Translate investment analyst use cases into compelling partnership pitches
• Work with Product and Engineering to scope content ingestion, structuring, and availability through GenAI grounding capabilities
• Manage the partnership pipeline and report progress, blockers, and revenue impact to the Chief Data Officer and leadership team
• Represent Raven Pack at industry events and through direct outreach
• Monitor the competitive landscape for data marketplaces and GenAI grounding platforms
• Lead a team and build the partnership function as it scales
• Report directly to the Chief Data Officer with regular executive leadership exposure

• Strong understanding of finance and the day-to-day workflows of investment analysts and researchers
• Track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing partnership or licensing agreements, ideally in financial data, market data, or content licensing
• Comfortable working with large established data vendors, smaller alternative data shops, and brand-name content owners
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and general technical fluency
• Understanding of how content is used to ground LLM outputs
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
• Judgment to balance commercial terms, legal risk, and speed to market
• Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and building a function from the ground up
• Based in New York
• US legal working status is required
• Background in Investment Research, whether buy-side, sell-side, or within a data provider serving the research community (desirable)
• Ability to vibecode to test use cases and carry out POCs (desirable)
• Experience operating within or alongside a data marketplace, content platform, or multi-provider aggregation environment (desirable)
• Existing network across financial data vendors, alternative data providers, or media and content organizations with licensable assets (desirable)
• Exposure to enterprise SaaS or platform business models (desirable)

Demonstrates expertise in partnership strategy, negotiation, and relationship management within the financial services sector, with a strong understanding of investment analyst workflows and generative AI concepts.
