We are seeking a knowledgeable and solutions-oriented IT Specialist to join our Information Technology team. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you’ll help maintain and improve QCH’s technology systems while providing responsive technical support to employees throughout the organization.

What You’ll Do Technical Support & Troubleshooting- Provide technical support to QCH staff and troubleshoot computer and technology issues.
- Review diagnostics and assess the functionality, performance, and efficiency of systems.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and update software and hardware as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to employees using QCH technology systems.
- Implement and maintain appropriate security measures.
- Monitor security certificates and assist with organizational technology compliance requirements.
- Help protect QCH systems, files, and information from security risks.
- Support system updates, maintenance, and other technology security initiatives.
- Meet with QCH departments to understand technology needs and requirements.
- Work with departments to define project scope and desired outcomes.
- Develop project timelines and identify the resources needed for implementation.
- Define software, hardware, and network requirements.
- Prepare project status reports and communicate progress and challenges.
- Research and recommend technology solutions that support organizational needs.
- Support network management and administration.
- Assist with software development and database administration.
- Monitor systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Anticipate technology replacement and upgrade needs and report associated costs.
- Travel to QCH program sites to provide technical support and assist with technology projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in IT support or a related technology role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with computer hardware, software, networks, and technology systems.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to staff with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to QCH sites as needed.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
