Job DescriptionWe're looking for a Dev Ops Support Specialist to join our Front Office Technology Team supporting the Hedge Fund Businesses in GSAM. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring application stability, directly working with the desk & development teams to rapidly respond & resolve system incidents and user queries.
The job entails:
- Solving problems, reacting quickly to limit downtime/disruption.
- Identifying, designing and implementing proactive patterns that prevent system problems.
- Technical support and maintenance of existing applications and surrounding infrastructure.
- Providing regular updates to key stakeholders at all levels, establishing strong relationships across the organization.
- Supporting the weekly change management process.
- Assisting with user acceptance of application enhancements.
- Planning for business continuity & disaster recovery.
- Prior trading environment experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage expectations.
- Be able to clearly explain the issues to others.
- Be able to work both independently and within a team environment.
