Our client, a global apparel company, is looking for a Senior E-Commerce Platform Manager to own and evolve their Shopify Plus ecosystem.

Reporting to the VP of E-Commerce, this person will set the platform roadmap, direct the outside Shopify development partner, and ship the features, integrations, and optimizations that move the business. The ideal candidate knows Shopify Plus inside and out and pairs that depth with real commercial judgment.

Key Responsibilities

Act as business owner of the Shopify Plus environment across six US and Canadian storefronts, and serve as the go-to internal resource on platform capability and technical feasibility
Build and maintain a forward-looking platform roadmap that weighs new features, technical cleanup, and performance work against business priorities
Direct the external Shopify development agency — scoping projects and shepherding them from requirements through build, QA, launch, and post-launch review
Run intake and prioritization: writing user stories, grooming the backlog, planning sprints, and managing releases across competing stakeholder requests
Research and roll out apps, integrations, and platform features that sharpen the shopping experience and cut manual work
Keep the tech stack healthy — watching site speed, Core Web Vitals, uptime, and third-party app stability
Stay ahead of privacy, consent, accessibility, and compliance changes so tracking and measurement stay clean
Build and run a continuous testing program, turning analytics and A/B results into changes that move conversion, AOV, and engagement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
At least 5 years running Shopify Plus or a comparable enterprise commerce platform for a consumer brand
Hands-on command of Shopify Plus — themes, app ecosystem, integrations, checkout, and merchandising tools
Track record owning a platform roadmap and shipping digital projects end to end
Experience directing outside development agencies or implementation partners
Comfortable working in Agile: backlogs, sprints, user stories, release cycles
Data-driven approach to picking priorities and proving impact
Organized, clear communicator who can juggle multiple work streams in a fast-moving environment
Genuine enthusiasm for e-commerce and for using technology to build better online shopping
