Position Summary

The Executive Director, ERP & Value Chain Platform Engineering is a senior technology executive accountable for the enterprise platforms that enable ELC's end-to-end value chain across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse Management, and Research & Development. Reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise Platform Engineering, this role serves as the executive platform owner responsible for the strategy, governance, lifecycle management, modernization, and business outcomes of ELC's SAP-centric ERP and Value Chain platform portfolio.

Operating within ELC's Enterprise Platform Engineering operating model, this leader serves as the primary technology counterpart to Enterprise Product Design Engineering, Tech, Data & Analytics Leaders, Enterprise Architecture, Operations & Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Enterprise Business Services (EBS), and strategic technology partners. The Executive Director translates approved business capabilities into coordinated platform strategies, modernization roadmaps, engineering realization plans, and technology investments while maintaining accountability for platform outcomes beginning at build through production acceptance.

Roles & Responsibilities

A. Platform Strategy, Ownership & Lifecycle (35%)

Provide strategic leadership and long-term ownership for ELC's ERP & Value Chain platform portfolio, ensuring enterprise platforms continue to evolve in alignment with business priorities, enterprise technology direction, engineering standards, and long-term business capability objectives.

  • Own the platform roadmap, lifecycle strategy, modernization initiatives, and long-term evolution of the ERP & Value Chain platform portfolio supporting Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse Management, and Research & Development.
  • Partner with Enterprise Product Design Engineering and Tech, Data & Analytics Leaders to translate approved business capabilities into coordinated platform roadmaps, engineering realization plans, and technology investment strategies.
  • Lead enterprise platform modernization initiatives that strengthen ERP capabilities, optimize end-to-end business processes, improve technical sustainability, and enable future-ready business platforms.
  • Balance business priorities, engineering capacity, modernization objectives, operational readiness, and long-term platform sustainability across a complex portfolio of enterprise business platforms.
  • Provide stewardship of platform technology investments, vendor relationships, engineering tooling, software licensing, and technology contracts supporting the ERP & Value Chain platform portfolio.

B. Platform Ownership & Delivery Governance (30%)

Maintain accountability for successful platform realization beginning at build through production acceptance while governing engineering realization, delivery quality, platform health, and continuous platform optimization.

  • Own successful delivery outcomes across the ERP & Value Chain platform portfolio while governing engineering realization delivered through Enterprise Business Services (EBS), strategic technology partners, and Enterprise Platform Engineering.
  • Establish accountability for engineering quality, platform health, release readiness, environment strategy, operational readiness, and cross-platform dependencies across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse Management, and Research & Development platforms.
