IT Service Desk Analyst I- ONSITE- NYC & Stamford (BH-400123)

Location New York, United States Sector Media Salary $32-36/hr.

You have an immediate, 6monthcontract, possible extension opportunity, as an IT Service Help Desk I within the digital media and publishing industry to join our client, Onsite, at their offices in New York, New York and Stamford, Connecticut

• $32-36/hr. max hourly rate
• This position is 100% OnSite, 5 days a week
  • 4 days a week, OnSite, NYC
  • 1 day a week, OnSite, Stamford
• 40 hours, Mon-Friday, Day time hours.
  
  Ability to work occasionally after hours and on weekends for maintenance and as part of an on-call rotation on rare occasions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with users, understand their needs, and provide clear and helpful support.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts. Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Ability to diagnose and resolve first-level technical problems, often under pressure.
• Familiarity with using ticketing systems to track and manage support requests.
• Ability to accurately document technical issues and solutions for future reference.
• Possesses general proficiency in navigating Slack, Google Workspace, Office 365, and various other SaaS applications, including Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
• Strong desire to learn new technologies and systems.
• Ability to work occasionally after hours and on weekends for maintenance and as part of an on-call rotation, if needed.

• A high school diploma or higher, (i.e. an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field) or equivalent work experience is required
• 2-3years of experience with an in-person or virtual technical support role in a fast-paced, high-volume support environment
