Summary
The Regional Data Lead for the Americas will drive regional data strategy and delivery, building scalable data pipelines and analytics to inform business decisions across multiple Maisons. This hybrid role, based in the New York office, partners with central data teams, IT, business stakeholders and vendors to ensure consistent, high-quality data and successful deployment of Data & AI initiatives. The role emphasizes data governance, operationalization, and measurable business impact.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute regional data strategy aligned with global and regional priorities.
- Partner with stakeholders and central teams to identify and onboard Data Owners and Data Product Owners.
- Lead collection, analysis, and delivery of analytics, dashboards, and scalable data pipelines to support business metrics.
- Serve as regional point of contact for Data & AI initiatives, from framing through deployment and adoption.
- Ensure data governance, quality, security, PII documentation, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, coordinate vendors and internal teams, and drive cross-entity implementations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in data management, analytics, or similar regional/multi-market roles.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python and analytics/BI tools (eg Power BI); experience with GCP, data governance and data mesh principles.
- Experience with structured and unstructured data, Agile/SAFe delivery, and scalable data infrastructure.
- Functional understanding of enterprise processes and systems (SAP ERP, CRM, SCM) and strong stakeholder management, communication and project management skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
