Role: MSSQL Admin

Location:
New York, NY

Optimize MS SQL Server configurations to enhance performance reliability and capacity while aligning infrastructure capabilities with business objectives and regulatory expectations

Implement robust backup restore and disaster recovery strategies for MS SQL Server instances to ensure business continuity and minimize risk of data loss across production and non-production landscapes

Monitor database health capacity and performance using appropriate tools and processes while tuning queries indexes and resource allocation to maintain stable and efficient operations

Collaborate with application and operations teams to plan and execute database changes including deployments upgrades and patching activities while minimizing downtime and production impact

Coordinate incident and problem management activities related to MS SQL Server and associated infrastructure by performing root cause analysis and implementing durable corrective actions

Compensation
:
We are offering between $90,000 – $115,000. Applications will be accepted until Sep 25, 2026.Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in US without requiring employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
