Founder's Office: Technology Specialist; AEEED

Referment is working with a global investment and technology organisation to hire a Technology Specialist providing high-touch technical support to a senior principal and family office. The role blends end-user support, systems administration, software development and security work, with exposure to wider enterprise engineering projects. You’ll operate across on-site and remote support, research new products, improve technical workflows and protect sensitive systems.

Success requires discretion, broad technical judgement and the ability to navigate ambiguous projects while delivering an excellent user experience.

• Provide responsive support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and other technology needs.
• Research, test and evaluate new products, then install, configure and troubleshoot supported systems.
• Build workflow applications, monitoring tools and administration automation.
• Apply cybersecurity practices across devices and systems, including security controls and monitoring.
• Use generative AI tools where useful to accelerate development and automate workflows.
• Contribute to broader enterprise technology and systems-engineering projects.

• A technical degree and up to six years of comparable experience.
• Programming ability in Python, C# or Power Shell and familiarity with modern development practices.
• Strong Windows and/or UNIX knowledge plus practical systems administration and user-support experience.
• Excellent collaboration, organisation and communication skills.
• Resourcefulness, intellectual curiosity and confidence solving open-ended technical problems.

• Threat detection, vulnerability management, endpoint protection or security monitoring.
• Generative AI tools used in software development.

This could suit a systems administrator, technical support engineer or versatile infrastructure technologist who enjoys both building solutions and supporting demanding users.
