Met Life Emerging Talent Experience (METx) - Summer 2027 Internship

Explore your future in technology with the METx Internship Program. Interns work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects that impact millions of customers, and receive mentorship, training, and networking opportunities throughout the summer.

Depending on business needs and your skills and interests, interns may have the opportunity to contribute to projects across roles in Software Engineering, Data & Analytics, or Cybersecurity
. Examples of work include developing and enhancing enterprise applications, building cloud and infrastructure solutions, automating data pipelines, creating dashboards and AI-driven solutions, supporting machine learning initiatives, strengthening cybersecurity controls, managing identity and access technologies, conducting threat analysis, and developing automation to support security operations.

Throughout the program, interns gain hands‑on experience with modern technologies including cloud platforms, AI and GenAI, data analytics, software development, and cybersecurity tools, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an innovative and supportive environment. At the conclusion of the internship, participants will present their project outcomes and key learnings to peers and leaders.
