Domain & Technical Expertise- 8+ years of software-testing experience, including deep hands-on work in both manual and automated frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cucumber).

Proven track record building end-to-end test strategies for complex, front-to-back workflows.

Hands-on experience with legacy mainframe systems:

understanding how the mainframe processes data, designing and validating data-migration flows from mainframe to distributed tiers, and testing those migrations in the live mainframe environment.

Collaboration
- Strong influencer: comfortable partnering with Product, Dev Ops, Engineering and Operations to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Skilled at balancing PODs individual priorities while maintaining a coherent, end-to-end test strategy across both distributed and mainframe platforms.

Strategic & Analytical Mindset
- Experience defining test roadmaps, metrics/KPIs (e.g., defect leakage, test coverage, automation percentage) and continuously improving them.

Skilled at risk-based testing: prioritizing what to test when timelines are tight and leveraging
* data* to drive coverage decisions.

Process & Tooling Savvy
- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Dev Ops) to build automation into nightly/regression suites.

Expert in Playwright for UI automation and Insomnia for API testing.

- Familiarity with modern test management platforms (Test Rail, qTest) and defect-tracking tools (JIRA).

Exceptional verbal and written communicator able to translate technical test results into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proactive in surfacing risks early and driving cross-team alignment on scope, timelines and acceptance criteria.
