Senior Technical Solution Architect

We are seeking a Senior Technical Solution Architect for a contract position based in New York, New York. This is a 6+ month engagement supporting enterprise physical security and surveillance infrastructure.

• Administer and maintain Pro-Watch access control servers and associated hardware.
• Support and manage Genetec Security Center servers, video management systems, and camera integrations.
• Maintain and optimize Change Gear SQL databases, ensuring performance, availability, backup, and recovery capabilities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise IP camera systems, video recording platforms, storage systems, and surveillance infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve access control, surveillance, server, and database-related incidents.
• Coordinate hardware and software upgrades for physical security systems and supporting infrastructure.
• Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability across security platforms and server environments.
• Perform system patching, firmware upgrades, security updates, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity procedures for physical security systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, operating procedures, and support guides.
• Provide on-call and emergency support for critical physical security and surveillance systems.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Networking, Facilities, and Operations teams to ensure secure and reliable system operation.
• Support the design, implementation, administration, and troubleshooting of VMware vSphere and Nutanix environments.
• Manage and support Nutanix clusters, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain Power Shell scripts and SQL queries for automation, troubleshooting, reporting, and system administration.

• Experience administering and supporting Pro-Watch access control systems.
• Experience with Genetec Security Center and video management systems.
• Experience managing and optimizing SQL databases.
• Knowledge of enterprise IP camera systems and surveillance infrastructure.
• Experience with Windows Server infrastructure.
• Experience administering VMware vSphere environments.
• Experience managing Nutanix clusters.
• Proficiency with Power Shell scripting and SQL query development.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills across security and server platforms.
• Experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
• Ability to work on-call and provide emergency support.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
