Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced People Soft Project Manager to lead large-scale People Soft transformation initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, engage executive stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of modernization programs involving People Soft applications, databases, middleware, and cloud infrastructure. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, governance, risk management, resource coordination, vendor management, and end-to-end execution of People Soft PUM upgrade and cloud migration projects while ensuring business continuity and compliance with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead governance and end-to-end delivery of People Soft PUM upgrade and OCI migration programs using Agile or Hybrid methodologies.
  • Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, issues, change requests, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Establish project governance structures, reporting cadences, decision-making frameworks, and escalation procedures.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, dependency tracking, risk registers, and project health reporting.
  • Coordinate steering committee meetings, executive status reviews, and leadership reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for implementation partners and oversee vendor performance, deliverables, milestones, resource commitments, and contractual obligations.
  • Review and challenge project plans, estimates, technical approaches, and delivery schedules to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Drive vendor accountability for project execution, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and quality standards.
  • Validate vendor deliverables and acceptance criteria while proactively escalating delivery risks, delays, and quality concerns.
  • Oversee People Soft PUM and People Tools upgrade initiatives across HCM, FSCM, ELM, Pensions, and other People Soft applications.
  • Coordinate fit-gap analyses, impact assessments, and customization retrofit strategies.
  • Partner with business stakeholders on requirements validation, testing, training, deployment activities, and change readiness.
  • Ensure testing plans, defect management processes, production readiness activities, and quality standards are effectively executed.
  • Track upgrade progress, risks, dependencies, and go‑live readiness to support successful deployment and business continuity.
  • Oversee migration of People Soft environments from on‑premises infrastructure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including migration strategy, cutover planning, disaster recovery readiness, and infrastructure preparedness.
  • Coordinate infrastructure, security, networking, database, and application teams to ensure migration readiness and successful delivery.
  • Monitor migration risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate OCI architecture reviews, security compliance requirements, disaster recovery planning, and performance optimization.
  • Ensure successful migration execution, operational readiness, post‑production stabilization, and support transition planning.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT leadership, Oracle, system integrators, and third‑party vendors.
  • Manage vendor deliverables, contractual obligations, service‑level agreements, project risks, mitigation plans, and strategic recommendations.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, invoices, and vendor expenditures.
  • Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, service‑level agreements, and project governance requirements.
  • Ensure change requests are evaluated and approved through established governance processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
