Senior Director, Platform Strategy, Solutions & Delivery

The Leading Hotels of the World is seeking a Senior Director, Platform Strategy, Solutions & Delivery to provide strategic and technology leadership for platforms, architecture, solutions, and shared capabilities that power LHW’s digital experiences across member hotels, travelers, advisors, and business partners.

In our newly created Digital organization, this role will set the Digital technology strategy and roadmap, establish architectural direction and technology standards, and guide the evolution of LHW’s Digital ecosystem to support scalable, secure, integrated, and sustainable solutions. Working across Digital Experience, Digital Operations, Portfolio Management, Data, IT, business teams, and external technology partners, the Senior Director will translate business and Digital priorities into platform and solution strategies that enable effective delivery and long-term business value.

This is a full-time position located in New York City. We offer flexible workplace policies that allow for working remotely 3 days a week and require being in our NYC office 2 days a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays).

• Set and evolve LHW’s Digital technology strategy and roadmap across platforms, solutions, architecture, and shared capabilities, aligned with business and Digital priorities.
• Translate business priorities into platform strategies, modernization plans, technology roadmaps, and investment recommendations.
• Guide platform lifecycle decisions, including when to build, buy, modernize, consolidate, or retire technology.
• Oversee the health and evolution of Digital platforms, considering scalability, technical debt, technology risk, cost, and long-term sustainability.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, for their potential to strengthen the Digital ecosystem and create business value.

• Provide strategic leadership for Digital Architecture, establishing architectural principles, standards, reusable patterns, decision frameworks, and technology guardrails.
• Guide complex platform, solution, integration, and cross-platform technology decisions while enabling Solutions Leads and delivery teams to own detailed design and implementation.
• Establish and continuously improve architecture review, technology governance, solution quality, and technical readiness practices.
• Guide the evolution of reusable Digital capabilities and technology patterns that improve consistency, accelerate delivery, and reduce unnecessary complexity.

• Partner with Digital Experience, Portfolio Management, Digital Operations, Data, IT, and business teams to translate portfolio priorities into executable technology plans and cohesive end-to-end solutions.
• Provide senior technology leadership across complex initiatives, helping teams navigate cross-platform dependencies, technical risks, implementation challenges, and significant technology decisions.
• Communicate technology decisions, trade-offs, risks, and investment recommendations to executive and senior stakeholders in clear business terms.

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Salesforce Center of Excellence, setting direction for its roadmap, architecture, governance, delivery practices, and continued evolution.
• Partner across business, Digital, Data, and technology teams to align Salesforce priorities and guide significant cross-platform decisions.

• Shape LHW’s Digital technology partner strategy and establish governance, performance expectations, and technology and delivery standards for strategic vendors and implementation partners.
