Position Overview

The City College of New York (CCNY) seeks a dynamic, strategic, and collaborative leader to serve as the Vice President for Information technology. As a key member of the college's executive operational leadership team, the VP reports directly to the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. This role will oversee the full lifecycle of the information technology strategy, service delivery, and operational excellence across the campus and in close partnership with the CUNY Central IT office.

Areas of responsibility include, front line service delivery for students, faculty, and staff, application development, enterprise infrastructure services, including information security, classroom technology, project management office, IT business management, and IT strategy development.

The VP of Information Technology is a strategic, hands-on people leader responsible for building and scaling the technology infrastructure of a growing campus. Operating as a senior stakeholder in the organization, this role requires equal parts, strategic vision and operational execution in a fast-moving, relationship-driven environment. The ideal candidate will be a transformative leader capable of modernizing traditional IT environments.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
