- Update Lifecycle Ownership: Drive end-to-end planning, execution, and go-live sign-offs for Oracle Cloud HCM quarterly updates (A, B, C, D cycles) and regular patch deployments.
- Impact & Feature Analysis: Review Oracle “What’s New” release notes to evaluate impact, identify mandatory vs. opt-in capabilities, and partner with Pod Leads (Payroll, Comp, Core HR) on intake roadmaps.
- Regression & Readiness: Lead the 2-week mandatory testing window across Stage/Test environments, coordinating regression testing scripts and defect resolution before production deployment.
- Environment Synchronization: Oversee instance planning and maintain the cross-environment "Pod Map" (Dev, Test, Stage, Prod) to ensure configuration parity and prevent deployment issues.
- P2T Refresh Strategy: Schedule and execute Production-to-Test (P2T) refreshes, ensuring in-progress configurations are safely backed up and teams experience minimal downtime.
- Maintenance & Vendor Liaison: Manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs), coordinate with Oracle CSMs on platform health, and communicate weekly maintenance windows and outages across HR and Finance.
- Technical Configuration Leadership: Lead hands-on cross-module development using Visual Builder Studio (VBS) to design and optimize user interfaces and workflows.
- AI & Automation Integration: Drive implementation and governance for modern platform capabilities, including Oracle AI Agent Studio, Fast Formulas, and Oracle Guided Learning (OGL).
- Platform Standards: Enforce disciplined change management, environment promotion standards, and zero-tolerance policies for undocumented production changes.
- Education & Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud HCM administration, configuration, environment management, and release engineering.
- Release & Governance Expertise: Proven track record of managing mandatory quarterly Oracle update cycles (A, B, C,
D), patch deployments, and P2T (Production-to-Test) refresh strategies across multi-pod environments. - Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience developing and configuring with Visual Builder Studio (VBS), Fast Formulas, and Oracle Guided Learning (OGL).
- Vendor & Ticket Escalation: Strong background managing high-priority Oracle Service Requests (SRs) and working directly with Oracle CSMs/Engineering.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience coordinating end-to-end regression testing windows across functional tracks (Payroll, OTL, Compensation, Core HR).
- Deep process discipline with zero tolerance for undocumented configuration changes.
- Familiarity or working knowledge with Oracle AI Agent Studio or emerging Oracle AI/GenAI capability frameworks.
- Experience in shared Cloud HCM / ERP environments requiring cross-functional alignment with Finance and IT.
