Hotaling Insurance Services is a nationally recognized insurance and risk advisory firm serving high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and closely held businesses. We are expanding our Life Insurance practice and seeking experienced producers who want to build a meaningful advisory business within a collaborative national platform.

This role is designed for entrepreneurial advisors who want the freedom to grow their book while leveraging a firm that provides advanced planning expertise, case design support, and access to top insurance carriers.

Position Summary

The Life Insurance Producer is responsible for developing new client relationships, advising individuals and business owners on sophisticated life insurance planning strategies, and collaborating with internal specialists across our brokerage platform.

Producers are supported by a national team providing advanced case design, underwriting advocacy, marketing resources, and cross-selling opportunities with commercial insurance, private client, and employee benefits teams to help build strong client relationships and growing their business.

This role is ideal for producers who want to operate as trusted advisors
, not product salespeople.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

  • Build and manage a pipeline of high-quality prospects including business owners, executives, and high-net-worth families
  • Develop referral relationships with financial advisors, CPAs, attorneys, and wealth managers
  • Lead client discovery meetings and identify planning opportunities

Insurance Planning & Strategy

  • Design and present sophisticated life insurance strategies including:
  • Estate planning and wealth transfer strategies
  • ILIT planning and trust-owned insurance
  • Business succession planning
  • Key person and executive benefit solutions
  • Advanced premium financing strategies
  • Retirement and tax-advantaged accumulation strategies
  • Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews for existing and prospective clients
  • Develop customized insurance strategies aligned with financial planning and estate goals
  • Serve as a long-term advisor to clients and their professional advisors

Internal Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with Hotaling’s internal teams to uncover opportunities across:
  • Commercial insurance
  • Private client insurance
  • Employee benefits
