Responsibilities
- Review and underwrite R&W opportunities under supervision.
- Assist in file completion, background checks and policy issuance.
- Conduct due diligence to analyze the risk to be insured, including:
(i) reviewing asset and merger agreements, disclosure schedules, data room materials, and financial and operational records of prospective insureds;
(ii) taking notes during underwriting calls with the proposed insured and their advisors to discuss the risk;
(iii) preparing the conference call agenda. - Engage in marketing efforts with senior and junior Ambridge colleagues.
