LOCATION: Hybrid, Midtown, NYC office, 2-3 days a week
JOB OVERVIEWAccount Managers provide high-quality service to our Clients and Account Executives. They work to ensure satisfaction by balancing the quality of service and speed of response. In this role, the Account Manager will support Senior Account Executives in the administration of policies, coordination of billing/payment, processing applications and other administrative duties and projects as assigned.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR- REQUIRED:
Candidates with current commercial insurance industry experience, licensed in P&C. Strongly prefer candidates with at least 2-3+ years of experience working for a commercial insurance brokerage servicing middle market to large accounts. - MUST HAVE:
Strong sense of urgency and thoroughness. This successful team handles large accounts for clients, so speed in responding while also being accurate is of the utmost importance. - Team players who are eager to learn and grow and collaborate well with others.
- Manage the activity for assigned accounts
- Manage the schedule of values for each assigned Client
- Create schedules of insurance and proposals
- Administer quarterly reporting and invoicing of locations added or removed from the schedule of values
- Endorsement processing
- Invoicing
- Tracking client account balances and working with the accounting department to ensure prompt payment is executed
- Set up new and renewal policies
- Manage day-to-day account transactions including additions, deletions of vehicles, acquisitions
- Generate and update schedules of insurance, create Acord certificates, Auto , Loss Run reports and similar documents as needed
- Support administration of program adjustments including dividend and audit adjustments
- Contact clients and underwriters to obtain information about policy changes, renewals and endorsements

- Minimum 2 years of insurance brokerage or insurance carrier experience.
- Strong computer skills including MS office suite, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must have excellent organization and time management skills.
- College degree in Insurance or related field preferred but not required
- P&C Brokers License preferred
