We are working with a leading insurance broker seeking to hire a Broker Operations Analyst in New York. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing international team, supporting brokers across the US and London while playing a key role in improving operational delivery and client service.

What is the role?

This is an opportunity for an analytical and detail-focused professional to join a growing Broker Operations team within the insurance market. The successful candidate will work closely with Broking and Operations teams, supporting the delivery of policy documentation, maintaining key processes, and helping ensure transactions are completed efficiently.

What will you be doing?
  • Liaise with Brokers and Clients to create and maintain policy documentation.
  • Generate and maintain Credit Insurance repayment schedules.
  • Support brokers throughout the deal lifecycle by ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Work closely with Operations teams to resolve queries and support successful submissions to partners.
  • Ensure internal processes and controls are followed.
  • Support the effective use of policy management tools and systems.
  • Assist with ad-hoc operational requirements and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with international teams across multiple locations.
What do you need to apply?
  • A STEM background with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent Excel skills, ideally including VBA.
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of deliverables.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • A team player who is comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with overseas teams is beneficial.
  • Previous knowledge of Credit Insurance and/or Political Risk Insurance would be advantageous.
