As an organization, we are united through trust as one engaged team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.

What the day will look like

You'll work closely with clients, surety carriers, and internal collaborators to deliver bond programs with accuracy, compliance, and outstanding service. This role involves significant client interaction and ownership of key accounts. It offers the chance to create an immediate impact while further developing your expertise in the specialized field of surety.

  • Works under minimal supervision, exercising good judgment in routine and moderately complex client and market situations.
  • Takes primary accountability in managing selected accounts.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of surety bonds, including bond program structures, indemnity concepts, and market practices including accurate client interaction and advisement.
  • May assist in onboarding, mentoring, and training internal team.

Implements Consents of Surety, Prequalification Letters, Riders, and other obligations required by clients in line with State rules. Determines the necessary documents to complete issuance, including power-of-attorney, resident license, and others, ensuring attention to contractual, legal, and financial details.

  • Coordinates receipt and organization of pertinent client related underwriting information (e.g., financial statements, work-in-progress schedules, bank information, organizational documents) to support timely carrier decisions.
  • Verifies that all bonds are issued within established surety lines of credit and brokerage authority. Assists in structuring and negotiating approvals for bond requests exceeding standard limits or outside delegated authority.

You will work directly with complex bonding programs, underwriting negotiations, and carrier relationships while acting as a trusted resource for clients and internal colleagues. The role also allows for broader influence through mentoring, participation in process improvement, and responsibility for critical compliance and underwriting workflows.
