Multi Line Adjuster, Trainee

• Inspect damage for boat, motorcycle, RV, and other specialty claims
• Estimate repair costs
• Negotiate settlements
• Issue payments
• Provide excellent customer service as a GEICO ambassador
• Work in repair shops, salvage yards, customers' homes, or a virtual estimating environment
• Service multi-line physical damage claims
• Complete required hands-on training at the Ashburn, VA facility
• Assist customers after accidents or major disasters

• Must reside in New York City, NY
• Valid driver's license meeting company underwriting guidelines
• Ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits
• Willingness to be flexible with primary work location, including remote or field work
• Solid computer skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Multi-tasking skills
• Effective attention to detail and decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• College degree or currently pursuing preferred
