Marshall and Sterling Inc is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support our Insurance department within the Banking, Insurance & Investment industry. In this client-focused role, you will assist with servicing commercial and personal insurance accounts, preparing quotes, renewals, and policy changes, and coordinating with carriers and internal teams. You will maintain accurate client records, respond to service requests, and help deliver personalized insurance solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers with day-to-day servicing of commercial and personal insurance accounts
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, policy changes, certificates, and renewals with accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist in reviewing coverage options and recommending appropriate solutions for client needs
  • Maintain up-to-date client records in agency management systems and ensure documentation compliance
  • Coordinate with carriers on underwriting requests, endorsements, billing, and claims support
  • Respond to client inquiries, resolve basic service issues, and escalate complex matters as needed
  • Track deadlines, policy expirations, and outstanding items to ensure seamless client service
  • Collaborate with producers and internal teams to support new business and cross-sell opportunities
  • Contribute to a team-focused, client-first culture through proactive communication and collaboration
  • Participate in ongoing training to expand product knowledge and support professional growth
