Senior Business Analyst: P&C Insurance | New York (Hybrid) | Competitive Salary DOE

A well-capitalised, institutionally backed specialty P&C insurer with a strong Lloyd's heritage and a rapidly growing US platform, they are mid-way through one of the most ambitious technology and operational transformation programmes in their history. And they need a Senior BA who can help them deliver it.

Think specialty P&C insurance perty, casualty, financial lines, marine, and specialty, written across Lloyd's and US admitted and E&S markets. The London operation is well established, and the US platform is growing fast, with significant investment going into people, systems, and infrastructure to match that ambition.

This isn't a business standing still. They're building.

You'd be stepping into a function with serious delivery momentum. Current work streams include:

• core policy administration system modernisation: Rationalising legacy platforms and moving toward a modern, scalable P&C stack
• data and analytics transformation: Building out MI, reporting, and underwriting insight capabilities to support smarter risk selection
• Digital underwriting workbench development: Streamlining the submission-to-bind journey for underwriters across key specialty lines
• Cloud migration: Transitioning on-premise infrastructure to a cloud-first environment across key business applications
• US platform expansion: Integrating new lines of business and supporting the buildout of E&S underwriting capabilities stateside

As Senior BA you'll sit at the heart of this, working directly with underwriting, claims, finance, and operations stakeholders to capture requirements, define solutions, and make sure what gets built actually works for the business.

This is a hands-on role. You'll be running workshops, producing functional specifications, managing UAT, and owning the requirement lifecycle end to end. You won't be managing from a distance.

• Proven Senior BA experience within the Insurance Market;
  This is essential
• Strong understanding of insurance operations, underwriting, claims, policy lifecycle, data flows
• Experience delivering on core systems transformation, data projects, or digital programmes
• Excellent stakeholder management, comfortable working with underwriters, actuaries, and C-suite equally
• Hands‑on with requirements, process mapping, user stories, and UAT
• New York based with flexibility for hybrid working
