Job Description

Job Summary

Wholesure is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to support the underwriting team throughpolicyprocessing, administrative coordination, and underwriting support activities. This role plays an important part in supporting new business issuance, endorsements, renewals, and day-to-day underwriting operations while ensuring documentation andpolicyinformation are accurate, organized, and complete.

In this role, you will work closely with underwriters, brokers, and carriers to supportpolicyservicing and provide timely, high-quality customer support. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail oriented, organized, and interested in building a long-term career within theinsuranceindustry.

Training will be provided, and priorinsuranceexperience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist with issuance of new business policies, endorsements, and renewals
Support underwriters withpolicyprocessing, documentation, and binding activities
Communicate with brokers, carriers, and internal underwriting teams to obtain necessary information and support underwriting operations
Respond toemails, submissions, phone calls, and requests in a timely and professional manner
Enter and maintain accurate information within underwriting systems and internal databases
Review underwriting documentation for completeness and accuracy
Organize and maintain electronic files and underwriting records
Support workflow tracking and general operational support for the underwriting team
Maintain strong attention to detailwhile managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

Strong attention to detailandorganizational skills
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required
Comfortable learning new systems and processes

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years property & casualty insurance experience
Active P&C license, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment
Bilingual in English and any Chinese dialect or Korean

Pay Details

The base compensation range for this position is $30 - $34. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
