Product Compliance Manager
- Commercial Property Job Summary / Introduction
We are recruiting for a Product Compliance Manager
- Commercial Property to oversee the development, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of commercial property insurance products. This is a senior role for an experienced commercial insurance professional with strong knowledge of policy forms, coverage, rating, underwriting, and regulatory requirements. The role will work closely with underwriting, actuarial, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure products are compliant, competitive, and commercially effective.
- 8+ years of commercial insurance experience, with 3+ years focused on Commercial Property.
- Strong knowledge of commercial property policy forms, endorsements, coverage, rating, and pricing.
- Experience with product development, policy wording, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with ISO products and regulatory filings, including SERFF.
- Strong understanding of underwriting practices and commercial insurance products.
- Experience working with underwriting, actuarial, compliance, and regulatory teams.
- Strong communication, influencing, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage complex product and regulatory issues independently.
- CPCU, ARM, or similar insurance qualification is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Job Description
- Manage and improve Commercial Property insurance products and supporting documentation.
- Draft and maintain policy forms, endorsements, rates, rules, and coverage language.
- Review regulatory and industry changes and determine required product updates.
- Support regulatory filings and respond to regulatory questions and objections.
- Partner with underwriting to align products with risk appetite and business objectives.
- Provide technical guidance on coverage and complex property risks.
- Work with actuarial teams on pricing, rating, and product performance.
- Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure products remain compliant, competitive, and market-ready.
- Develop guidance and training materials for underwriting teams.
- Collaborate across product, underwriting, actuarial, compliance, and regulatory functions.
