We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Insurance Underwriter (Mandarin & English) in New York.

Our client is property and casualty insurance agency and they serve a diverse clientele of small businesses, with particular expertise in industries such as hospitality, professional services, and adult day care centers. Their agency combines deep technical knowledge with a relationship-driven approach to provide trusted risk management solutions and they are looking for experienced Bilingual Insurance Underwriter to join their team.

The salary for the Insurance Underwriter is $55,000-$80,000

• Underwrite new & renewal business submissions and determine suitability of risks and proper pricing levels
• Communicate effectively with carriers and clients to resolve issues and answer coverage questions
• Provide superior customer service to insureds in a proactive and timely fashion
• Identify new opportunities for business growth through communication with insureds

• 2 Years Property and Casualty experience
• Fluency in Mandarin and English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail
• Team player with a positive work attitude, effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and goodrelationship skills
