AIG’s Political Risk business helps clients confidently navigate the challenges of operating and investing across the globe. Working with multinational corporations, financial institutions, and investors, we provide tailored insurance solutions that protect against risks such as political violence, expropriation, currency in convertibility, and sovereign default. As part of a team of specialized underwriters and risk professionals, you will help design innovative solutions for complex international exposures.

Responsibilities
  • Support the evaluation and underwriting of political and economic risks associated with businesses and investments operating across global markets.
  • Review country, financial, economic, and exposure information to support risk selection, pricing, and coverage decisions.
  • Partner with experienced underwriters and risk professionals to develop tailored solutions for complex international exposures.
  • Build relationships with brokers and clients while supporting new business and renewal opportunities.
  • Monitor geopolitical, economic, and market developments to identify emerging risks and support informed underwriting decisions.
  • Develop knowledge of political risk insurance and international markets while building analytical, research, and relationship-management skills.
Minimum Qualifications

Education Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2027 (unofficial transcript required upon application).

Program Requirements

Available to start the Program on July 26, 2027. Analyst positions are in-person opportunities, requiring employees to work in the office at least four days per week.
