As a 1099 Contract Interpreter, you will support diverse communities by delivering on‑site interpretation services in a variety of settings. This role offers flexible, per diem assignments with competitive pay, allowing you to build a rewarding and scalable career.

• Provide accurate on‑site interpretation between English and your target language
• Travel to client locations within a 30‑mile radius of New York City, NY
• Maintain professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and appropriate tone during all assignments
• Deliver clear and complete interpretation without omissions or additions
• Respond promptly to scheduled assignments and communicate effectively with clients
  
  Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards
• Provide excellent customer service in all interactions
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Be willing and able to travel locally to assignments
• Commit to punctuality, preparation, and professionalism

We are actively seeking interpreters for the following languages:
Afar, Dari, Farsi, Karen, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi (Rundi), Kurdish, Luganda, Maji, Pashto, Portuguese, Somali, Swahili, Tigrinya, Turkish, Urdu, Vietnamese.
