The Permanent Mission of the UAE to the UN - New York works with the Member States of the United Nations and UN Agencies to promote policies that aim to strengthen sustainable development, prosperity, and peace.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Translator. The Translator will be responsible for translating documents and speeches from English to Arabic and vice versa, as well as assisting with interpretation during meetings and events.
Qualifications- Fluency in both English and Arabic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
- Experience in translation and interpretation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of UN protocols and procedures is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Interpretation, or a related field
