** Business Affairs Attorney.
**** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*
* * Provide legal support on all aspects of mergers, acquisitions, venture capital and fund investments, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions
* Review and advise on documents relating to corporate venture capital and fund investments
* Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts
* Provide legal services to assigned internal client groups, as well as supporting SCA attorneys on other assignments
* Support the corporate secretary function for various Sony entities
* Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above

Perform other duties as assigned
** QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION*
* ** Your qualifications and experience should include:
** Requires a minimum of four (4) years of transactional experience working in a well-respected law firm or large corporation.  A mix of law firm and in-house experience is preferred

A proven ability to master complex legal requirements, learn quickly, and interact easily with all levels of employees Experience meeting tight deadlines while simultaneously prioritizing multiple projects is essential Excellent written and oral communications skills, comprehensive interpersonal skills A demonstrated ability to work very closely with the business side and on project teams, and to approach issues with a strategic focus Experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts is preferred

* The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $195,000 to $215,000. In addition to the annual base salary, this role has an annual bonus target of 17%. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.*#
