, with 2 years experience who can independently manage the full lifecycle of residential real estate loans from commitment letter (or before) through closing.
We’re looking for a highly organized and responsive real estate professional with a customer service mindset and sales mentality. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, takes initiative without constant supervision, and knows how to juggle competing deadlines while keeping clients informed and confident throughout the process.
Responsibilities- Manage a pipeline of residential real‑estate loans from inception to closing with minimal oversight
- Prepare pre‑closing and final closing documents; organize and maintain digital files
- Collaborate with lenders to generate and finalize Closing Disclosures (CDs)
- Prepare and review CEMAs, 255 Affidavits, and Schedule A mortgage schedules
- Coordinate and schedule closings with buyers, sellers, attorneys, lenders, and title companies
- Read and interpret title reports, mortgage schedules, and municipal searches; resolve issues proactively
- Liaise with lenders to ensure mortgage packages are processed efficiently and accurately
- Work with title companies, attorneys, and other vendors to clear all pre‑closing conditions
- Maintain and track contract deadlines and manage closing checklists
- Coordinate federal, state, and local filings; track post‑closing items and remediations
- Represent firm at loan closing transactions as needed
- Ability to handle a large pipeline independently and efficiently
- Highly responsive, organized, and detail‑oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong client service mindset with a professional, proactive, and polished demeanor
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to support closing timelines
- New York State Notary Public License (within 30 days of hire)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Airtable a plus
