Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a Title and Survey Paralegal Specialist to join their Real Estate group.

Schedule: Hybrid 3/2

Locations: New York or Los Angeles office

Responsibilities:

* Coordinate due diligence for various real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions

* Facilitate communications between attorneys and other parties involved in transactions

* Review and summarize title commitments and surveys, preparing objection letters as necessary

* Work closely with title companies to clear titles and obtain title policies

* Obtain, review, and summarize entity organizational documents and various lien searches

* Prepare and file/record a variety of documents, including deeds, mortgages, and UCC financing statements

* Prepare closing checklists and coordinate the closing process

* Prepare and distribute closing binders

Qualifications:

* A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred

* ABA-approved paralegal certificate is preferred

* At least 8+ years of paralegal experience involving commercial real estate required
