Bankruptcy Paralegal

Overview

Our client is a law firm with offices across the United States and abroad. They are seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to support the team in NYC
. The position is hybrid and based part of the week out of their office in Downtown Manhattan. The firm offers an outstanding benefits package and truly values each employee’s personal and professional development.

• Assist attorneys with Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases
• Perform extensive legal and factual research
• Draft legal documents and correspondence
• Assist with e-filing of legal documents
• Maintain case tracking information in database
• Manage calendar events and deadlines
• Assist attorneys with trial preparations and proceedings

Salary Range: $90-135k, based on experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, required
• Paralegal certificate, a major plus!
• 7+ years’ experience as a Bankruptcy Paralegal
• Top-notch legal research, writing, and proofreading skills
• Resourceful, adaptable, organized, and collaborative
