Overview

An international Firm with a first class employer brand is seeking an Associate to join its U.S. Tax practice in New York - this is an outstanding opportunity to work on sophisticated transactional matters alongside a leading corporate and funds practice with a global connectivity.

You will advise on the tax aspects of corporate transactions, including public and private M&A, fund formation, joint ventures, and financing. For candidates with relevant experience, there is also an opportunity to specialize further in funds work, both on the sponsor and investor side. In this role, you will collaborate closely with partners, counsel, and colleagues across multiple practice groups on headline-making transactions.

You will work closely with partners, counsel, and colleagues across multiple practice groups on headline-making transactions.

The ideal candidate will be a  class year associate with prior experience at a leading Am Law firm. They should bring a strong background in corporate tax matters, ideally with exposure to both M&A and funds work. Exceptional legal research, drafting, and analytical skills are essential, along with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing multiple work streams efficiently. Admission to practice in New York is required.
