A law firm seeks a mid-level associate attorney to join its Tax group in New York. The successful candidate will work on a variety of transactional tax matters, contributing to a dynamic team environment.
Duties- Provide legal advice on transactional tax matters.
- Collaborate with team members to develop tax strategies.
- Conduct legal research and draft related documents.
- Engage with clients to understand their tax needs.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited US law school.
- High academic achievement.
- Experience in transactional tax.
- Admitted to or eligible to waive into the New York, DC, or Texas Bar.
- Prior experience in a peer law firm required.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
- Bar admission in New York, DC, or Texas.
- Strong interest in tax law.
- Team-player attitude.
