Project Finance Lawyer

Project Finance Lawyer – $365,000–$450,000 Annually

Salary range of $365,000–$450,000 based on year classification.

Must be licensed to practice law and be in good standing in the state where the hired candidate will be practicing.

Seeking a senior lawyer with 5+ years of Project Finance experience to join the team as a Senior Associate or Senior Counsel. The candidate must have strong competency in drafting and negotiating the principal financing documentation. The ideal candidate will have a background in project finance within renewable energy. Experience in reviewing project documentation is preferred. This role provides an opportunity to work on high‑profile projects in renewable energy, energy storage, power generation, and other energy transition technologies.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project finance practice.
• Experience drafting and negotiating the principal financing documentation.
• Experience with renewable‑energy projects preferred.
• Experience reviewing project documentation preferred.
• Strong academic credentials; JD education required.
• Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the relevant state.
• Hiring candidates must be lateral from a large national firm (Top 350) currently practicing in the same practice group.

This position may be located in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C.

The full‑time base salary for this position is expected to range between $365,000 – $450,000. Bonus opportunities are non‑guaranteed and depend on individual and firm performance.
