Insurance Coverage Attorney - Hybrid

We are an Award Winning Law Firm, looking to bring on an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join our growing team. The role is Hybrid, full-time and requires 3+ years of insurance coverage experience.

• 3+ years of insurance coverage experience
• Experience in drafting coverage opinions in one or more insurance lines (CGL, property, professional liability, cyber, intellectual property, etc.)
• Experience in either or both third-party or first‑party claims
• Coverage analysis and writing experience
• Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions
• Licensed in New York

• Provide legal advice on insurance coverage matters and policy interpretation
• Represent clients in litigation
• Analyze complex insurance policies and determine coverage obligations
• Defend clients against bad faith claims
• Participate in class action lawsuits involving insurance issues
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant case law and statutes
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters and claims professionals to resolve disputes effectively

The annual salary for this position is between $150k and $180k. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
