A law firm seeks a patent attorney with at least four years of experience to join their team in New York. The ideal candidate will have expertise in healthcare technologies and related ML/AI technologies, holding a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Duties- Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications.
- Collaborate with inventors and scientists in a client-facing role.
- Utilize patent databases and search tools effectively.
- Work with cross-functional teams to achieve firm objectives.
- Minimum of four years of patent prosecution experience.
- Strong organizational and writing skills.
- Desire to thrive in a large law firm environment.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- USPTO registration required.
- Active admission to the state bar of the jurisdiction where located.
- Intellectual curiosity and strong academic credentials.
- Familiarity with patent databases and search tools.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
