OverviewTalisman Advisory Partners is a specialist executive search firm focused on energy, infrastructure, power, renewables, and adjacent investment platforms. We work with sponsors, developers, operators, and funds on highly consultative, senior-level searches across investment, finance, and legal.
We are hiring a Principal or Director to help build and scale our Legal Practice. This is a senior, revenue-generating role suited to an experienced legal recruiter with an established network, strong business development instincts, and credibility across energy and infrastructure markets.
The RoleThis individual will operate as a true 360 consultant, responsible for originating, winning, and delivering retained and contingent legal search mandates. You will independently open doors, win mandates, and expand client coverage by complementing the firm’s existing strengths with additional BD momentum and sector reach. You will build trusted, long-term relationships rather than transactional placements.
The role offers significant autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to meaningfully shape the growth of the legal practice within a collaborative, entrepreneurial firm. IdealCandidate
- 5+ years of experience in legal recruitment in a true 360 capacity (not delivery-only)
- Experience operating at Managing Consultant, Principal, or Director level
- Demonstrated sector focus in energy, infrastructure, power, renewables, or adjacent private equity and fund environments
- Strong understanding of in-house legal hiring, particularly within PE-backed, M&A-driven, or asset-heavy businesses
- An existing, portable book of business with client relationships that can be leveraged from day one
