Our client, an Am Law 100 firm
, is seeking an experienced associate to join its U.S. federal tax practice in New York, with a focus on tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions
. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level tax attorney(3-5yrs experience) interested in sophisticated transactional work and meaningful client interaction.
The role involves close collaboration with corporate, M&A, private equity, and finance teams on structuring tax-efficient transactions for clients across the country. Associates in this group take on substantial responsibility early, including direct client contact and opportunities to play a leadership role on complex matters.
Qualifications- JD with LL.M. in Taxation or comparable tax credentials
- 3–5 years of experience in U.S. federal income tax, with an emphasis on M&A and transactional matters
- Strong academic credentials
