Job Opportunity:
Associate - Transactional Tax Practice

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transactional Tax Associate with 4-5 years of relevant experience to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex, high‑profile matters in the private equity and fund industries.

• Provide expert tax guidance on transactional matters, with a focus on general M&A and partnership issues.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams on structuring, tax planning, and compliance for private equity deals and fund transactions.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of tax laws and regulations to support client transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate tax‑related provisions in transactional documents.
• Deliver tailored solutions to clients to optimize their tax positions in complex deals.

• Experience: 4-5 years of transactional tax experience, ideally with exposure to M&A and partnership matters.
• Education: Strong academic credentials, with preference for candidates who have completed or are pursuing an LL.M. in Taxation.
• Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Background: Law firm experience is preferred, but candidates with large accounting firm experience will also be considered.

We prefer candidates based in New York or Philadelphia
, but we are open to considering candidates in other locations. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in their state of practice.

The salary for this position is $275,000 - $305,000
, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
