Position: Junior Transactional Real Estate Paralegal (Residential – NYC)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Transactional Real Estate Paralegal to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in NYC residential real estate law while working closely with experienced attorneys in a fast‑paced and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications
  • Paralegal certificate/degree preferred, or 1–2 years of experience in a real estate law firm (experience mandatory)
  • Strong interest in NYC residential real estate transactions including co-ops, condos, townhouses, and single-family homes
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Must be willing to obtain a Notary Public license (preferred if already licensed)
Key Responsibilities
  • Support attorneys throughout all phases of residential real estate transactions
  • Assist with preparing and organizing transaction files and closing checklists
  • Draft routine correspondence and basic real estate documents under supervision
  • Coordinate with clients, lenders, brokers, title companies, and managing agents
  • Request and organize title reports, payoff letters, and closing documents
  • Help prepare closing packages and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate
  • Assist with scheduling closings and maintaining deadlines
  • Handle post-closing tasks, including assembling closing binders and recording documents

Compensation

$55,000 – $75,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
