SummaryA respected midtown Manhattan law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Transactional Attorney to join its growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse real estate transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing—primarily serving not-for-profit and religious organizations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and confident leading transactions from inception to closing with minimal oversight.
What You’ll Do- Manage complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and lease negotiations
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts such as purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and license agreements
- Conduct due diligence including review of title, survey, corporate documentation, and closing materials
- Oversee transaction closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all documentation
- Provide clear legal guidance aligned with client goals and organizational requirements
- Collaborate effectively with partners and team members on strategy and execution
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 2–4 years of commercial real estate experience managing transactions with minimal supervision
- Active New York Bar License
- Strong command of contract drafting, negotiation, and due diligence
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented and client-focused approach
