Job Description
We are looking for a Patent Agent to join our Intellectual Property Group. The role involves working with clients to identify inventions, assisting attorneys in preparing and prosecuting patent applications, conducting patent searches and analysis, and providing technical assistance in IP transactions.
- Strong academic credentials, as well as outstanding analytical, organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience working at a law firm within Intellectual Property.
- Ph.D. in organic chemistry, molecular biology, or cellular biology (must).
Our client is a global law firm with over 100 years of practice. They seek a Patent Agent to join their IP Group, preferably in their New York office, working in a hybrid setting.
CompensationAnnual Salary: $145,000 – $215,000 (USD).
