Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for 2-3 Real Estate Finance Attorneys to assist a Global Law Firm.
OverviewMajor, Lindsey & Africa is seeking 2-3 Attorneys in Real Estate Finance with 3-5+ years of experience in Real Estate Finance and Commercial Loans experience to join a prominent global law firm.
Company: A Global Law Firm.
Experience: At least 3-5+ years of experience in Real Estate Finance and Commercial Mortgage Loans.
Location: NYC or Boston Hybrid Preferred.
Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate transfer documentation to assign commercial mortgage loans into financing arrangements, including repurchase agreements, note-on-note agreements, and securitizations, using client forms
- Draft, review, and negotiate loan servicing agreements, deposit account control agreements, document custodial agreements, and other ancillary financing documents for these arrangements, using client forms
- Coordinate with internal and external parties to complete onboarding and KYC requirements
- Manage execution of signature pages and facilitate smooth closings for commercial mortgage loan transactions
- Review corporate authority documents to identify authorized signatories and draft certificates and consents
- Coordinate lender diligence deliverables, including loan files, lien searches, and good standing certificates
- Apply experience in real estate or specialty finance, including residential mortgages, and adapt to new areas as needed
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in any area of real estate or specialty finance, including residential mortgages, who are motivated and prepared to be reskilled are ideal.
- Active license to practice law in relevant jurisdiction
- Experience in real estate finance, commercial mortgage transactions, or specialty finance preferred
- Strong ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents
- Proficient in managing transaction processes and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Skilled in reviewing corporate authority documents and preparing related certificates and consents
- Demonstrates attention to detail and organizational skills
- Adapts to new areas of real estate or specialty finance as needed
- Proficient in using AI technologies responsibly and ethically
- Communicates clearly and manages time effectively
- Maintains high standards of professional integrity and confidentiality
Pay Rate: $100
