We are on the lookout for a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our thriving legal team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of real estate transactions, including commercial, leasing, and zoning matters. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law and will be adept at handling complex transactions with minimal supervision.
This role provides a unique opportunity to work on high-profile deals, offering invaluable experience and exposure in the real estate legal industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide legal expertise and support on a broad range of real estate matters including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, development, and construction.
2. Review, draft, and negotiate various types of real estate agreements including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, easements, licenses, and property management agreements.
3. Advise clients on legal and regulatory issues related to property, including zoning laws and regulations.
4. Conduct thorough due diligence to identify potential legal risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
5. Coordinate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure smooth transaction closings.
6. Provide legal advice and support to the business development team on potential real estate investment opportunities.
7. Keep abreast of changes in real estate laws and regulations and provide updates to the team and clients as necessary.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Attorney, with a focus on commercial transactions, leasing, and zoning matters.
3. Admission to the state bar.
4. Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
5. Proven track record of managing complex real estate transactions independently.
6. Strong understanding of local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations.
7. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to finding legal solutions that meet business needs.
9. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients.
